We are so proud to say that over 80% of our wonderful Store Managers were promoted from within — that's always been the ROMI way. And it doesn't stop there — many of our Area and Regional Managers grew their careers in store, and it's the same for our Head Office teams too.

I've worked at ROMI since 2004. One of the things I love most about my job is seeing my team progress in the same way I have. To develop my knowledge, and be a better manager, I recently completed a Coaching Apprenticeship. Area Manager
Our Roles
From Barista to Manager and beyond, you'll receive clear and practical training — such as perfecting coffee making skills, people management and delivering a top rate customer experience in a supportive and structured way. We welcome and encourage everyone at ROMI to contribute ideas and share feedback.
Barista
Our Baristas are the heartbeat of ROMI. As well as making amazing coffee for our customers, they make a difference to their day too. You don't need any experience — we provide all the training you need. What's essential is that you love being part of a team, have a great attitude and bags of energy.
Shift Leader
As a Shift Leader, you will support in the running of the store — leading the team, giving great customer service and delivering the very best standards of coffee and food. Ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader, but if you haven't got that don't worry, we'd still love to hear from you.
Assistant Manager
Our Assistant Managers have a vital role, providing support to the Store Manager with a wide range of key store activities and deputising for them in their absence. Many of our Assistant Managers are on a career path to Store Manager, and this role gives great experience to make that possible.
Store Manager
As a Store Manager you will take ownership of your own store, providing great customer service and the best standards of coffee and food. You will pride yourself on keeping your customers happy through fantastic service, whilst growing and developing your own team. And the opportunities don't stop there — many of our Area Managers developed from Store Manager!
